That dream seemed always just out of
reach,
Walking alone on life’s sweeping
beach.
Wondering how arms could possibly feel
like,
Holding me close in the darkness of a
night.
Letting it go and burying my heart,
Slowly the blackness wins its part.
Rolling along every day turns another
Continuing the process fulfilling its
smother.
Then, a glimpse is carried from afar,
Will it know light from that
shimmering star?
Slowly, ever so slowly something
awakens and recalls
Surely nothing can penetrate these
strong, harden walls.
Those words, that voice doing their part
Shining his light on that old, tired
heart.
Two pair of eyes one day finally meet,
Walking together on that cold Boston
street.
Come to find out their feelings seemed
same,
Showing each other that this was no
game.
Stealing a kiss in the corner of a
room,
Blooming those hearts, quickly
shedding all gloom.
